This yacht was built for extended stays on board, allowing you to enjoy comfortable year-round living aboard this beautiful vessel. The yacht is fully insulated, featuring double glazing, an insulated hull, a Kabola central heating system, and reversible air conditioning/heating in the owner's cabin. The practical saloon is on the same level as the spacious aft deck, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living areas. The aft deck features a generous U-shaped seating area to port, opposite the exterior helm station. It can be fully enclosed with a cockpit tent, making it suitable for use in all weather conditions. From the aft deck, the swim platform is easily accessible. Inside the saloon, there is a comfortable L-shaped sofa with a fixed table that can also be used as a navigation station. The interior helm is located to starboard. A semi-circular staircase leads down to the lower deck, where the galley is situated to port and a cosy dinette for approximately 6 to 7 people is located to starboard. In the bow, the guest cabin is fitted with a French double bed. A second guest cabin to starboard offers a single berth. Beneath the saloon is the owner's cabin, equipped with a French double bed. The engine room is easily accessible from the passageway leading to the owner's cabin and has a well-organised, practical layout. The yacht has undergone an extensive refit in two phases: Phase 1 (2018–2019): The entire yacht was grit-blasted and rebuilt with a new epoxy paint system. The complete interior was modernised, including refinishing the woodwork, installing new flooring, and fitting a completely new helm station. Phase 2 (2021–2025): The aft deck was modernised with new upholstery. New teak decking was installed beneath the U-shaped seating area. New summer and winter cockpit enclosures were fitted. A new Kabola central heating system was installed. A new PC-Navigo navigation computer was fitted. New fresh water and waste water pumps were installed. Two new Planus toilets were fitted. Thanks to its comprehensive maintenance history and extensive refurbishment, this unique Pilot 50 is presented in exceptional condition. Refurbished hydraulic flap system (cylinders and pump); in the engine room, replacement of all exhaust and seawater intake pipes for the engines and generator; new seawater pumps for the engines and generator (2022/23). Cleaning and inspection of the engines’ water/air, water/oil and water/coolant heat exchangers at the end of 2024. Installation of a system with a 24 V electric suction and discharge pump to replace the oil in the engines and gearboxes, Fitting of a removable panel in the port-side wall of the engine room to facilitate replacement of the seawater turbine (impeller). Installation of 220-volt LED lighting strips in addition to the original 24-volt circuit in the engine room, the hold and the battery room. An X-Sense smoke and fire detection system with three detectors – one in the galley, one in the engine room and one in the hold – an EZVIZ camera in the engine room and Ruuvi temperature sensors for the fridge, freezer and engine room, viewable either on the Victron GX 70 screen or via VRM. A Wi-Fi router and Yacht Router SIM card allow you to set up your own Wi-Fi network; the three TV–DVD units are Smart TVs with a direct internet connection via the router or from your mobile phone. The boat features a carbon-fibre gangway personalised with the name ‘Blue Sky’. A logbook providing a detailed account of all the work carried out since 2020, written in two languages: Dutch and French. This document is supplemented by a PowerPoint presentation, also in two languages, featuring photographs taken whilst the work was being carried out.
