This Pilot Yacht from the Explorer class from the Next Generation Shipyards, built in 2016, is a sturdy and extremely seaworthy ship (CE-A Ocean-going) with the luxury look and feel of a yacht. The idea arose from the experiences that the NG shipyard owner and some employees gained as the then co-director/owner and builders of “No limit”. They built more than 25 of these “No Limits” type yachts. After the owners of No Limit went their own way, the new NG shipyard owner wanted to bring a more modern version of the “No Limit” to the market, which resulted in the above yacht. The yard has grown enormously and still builds professional seaworthy ships such as crew tenders, survey ships and pilot boats for the Dutch pilot service.
The ship has been proofen well maintained under the current and first owner. The extensive and professional Simrad navigation tools, AIS transponder and Simrad 4G radar ensure a comfortable trip with a high level of safety. The high-quality 2-component polyurethane blue hull coating is in good condition together with the rest of the ship. The Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines (435 hp each) drive the propellers built into half tunnels, which ensures less vulnerability, better protection and less draft. The D-fenders all around provide even greater stability (= safety) in bad weather. Plenty of storage space due to numerous cupboards and drawers throughout the ship. The ship is equipped with: Spacious and sunken open cockpit for a sheltered seat with fixed bench incl. accompanying cushions, the cockpit is equipped with a canopy with night/work lighting and can be extended with a canvas sunshade, cockpit with closed (deep) lockers, spacious storage hatch in the stern, foldable transom that can be used as a bathing platform, wheelhouse/saloon entrance via rear and side door (SB), full view all-round from the steering position, luxurious Norsapp helm seat, professionally furnished dashboard with high-quality Simrad navigation instruments, There is a WiFi on-board network via 4G, for the co-pilot there is an electrically height-adjustable co-pilot seat, which in rest position can also be adjusted to a cozy seat at the saloon table, the interior is equipped with comfortable underfloor heating, blinds and pleated blinds, Samsung TV on lift in saloon, Samsung TV in front cabin, large sliding roof above steering position, Bosch kitchen appliances with an induction cooking plate / microwave oven / dishwasher, mosquito screens, Samsung washer/dryer combination, electrically equipment housed in the "technical room". In the bow there is room for storage of items such as mooring lines and fenders incl. the anchor chain. The engine room has an automatic extinguishing system & double fuel filters. The radar bracket is electrically foldable, as is the transom, which can be electrically operated both in the cockpit outside and on the dashboard inside. A comfortable sailing speed for inland waterways is around 6 á 7 knots, with a total consumption of approximately 10 liters per hour. The maximum speed is approximately 25 knots. A more extensive consumption table is available on request. The clearance height with the folded bracket is approx. 3.60 meters and with the bracket up it is approx. 6.20 meters.
